I am not a pro in style and fashion, but it is to me, pretty Emma Watson has no sense of clothing at all. She usually wears boring and weird dresses on the red carpet and this one is just the same. Yeah, it may be cute, though I almost hate it, but definitely not for the occasion. Perhaps she needs a personal stylist or something.
